ENERVIDA'11

Realizou-se de 11 a 13 de Fevereiro de 2011 no Pavilhão Multiusos, em Viseu, a primeira edição da ENERVIDA, Feira e Conferências de Energias Renováveis e Eficiência Energética.

Estive presente com dois workshops, no dia 11 com “7 R´s”, e no dia 12 com “Coberturas Verdes e Paredes Vivas”, apresentados com a sala bem composta.

Estes dois workshops foram uma aposta clara da organização do evento em trabalhos de autor, na diversificação das temáticas e dos conteúdos do certame, que felizmente foram para lá das apresentações das instituições e das empresas. E digo felizmente porque, embora sejam essenciais, as instituições e empresas não têm como objectivo reflectir sobre as questões que estão na génese do evento.

A palestra de Paul Roberts intitulada “Economia da Energia e Eficiência Energética” foi outra aposta a meu ver acertada e nessa direcção, abordando essencialmente as questões levantadas no seu livro “The End of Oil” (2004). Muito participada, o jornalista norte-americano abordou os limites duma economia global baseada no petróleo e nos outros combustíveis fósseis, fazendo um excelente enquadramento das questões políticas, energéticas, ambientais e sociais.

Workshop "Coberturas Verdes e Paredes Vivas" | "Green Roofs and Living Walls"

(IN) Held from 11 to 13 February 2011 at Pavilhão Multiusos, in Viseu, Portugal, the first edition of ENERVIDA, Fair and Conference for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency.
I present two workshops, on day 11 with "7 R's", and on day 12 with "Green Roofs and Living Walls", with the room well-composed.

These two workshops were a clear commitment to the organization of the event in works of authorship, in the diversification of the themes and contents of the exhibition, which fortunately go further than presentations of institutions and enterprises. I say fortunately because, while essential, institutions and companies do not aim to reflect on the issues that are the genesis of the event.

Paul Roberts'presentation titled "Economics of Energy and Energy Efficiency" was another bet to my right and see that direction, focusing mainly on the issues raised in his book "The End of Oil" (2004). Well attended, the American journalist approached the limits of a global economy based on oil and other fossil fuels, making an excellent framework for political, energy, environmental and social issues.
